I'm here today to talk to you about our
low resist technology and our MBR
modules and how this can help you reduce
your operating costs and total cost of
ownership nature was a major inspiration
for us when we designed the low resist
technology for our MBR modules in nature
water always takes the path of least
resistance and therefore we wanted to
use this and use gravity in our MBR
modules to reduce the energy required to
produce clean water from our MBR modules
with larry's this technology we see two
major savings one with energy
consumption and one with the cleaning
required for MBR modules with regards to
the energy consumption if you can
operate with gravity you can take away
the permeate pumps for the production of
clean water from the MBR modules
therefore we're able to save that energy
and therefore the only energy required
for the MBR modules after that is for
air scarring with our new s air ADA
innovation for the MBR module we're able
to then save 40 percent on that side and
therefore we have a overall a very
energy-efficient MBR module the second
advantage the low resist technology
brings is the reduction in the cleaning
and the maintenance required for the MBR
modules so when you're able to operate
with an ultra low tones membrane
pressure you are able to reduce the the
fouling on the membranes so during
operation we normally have a relaxation
period of two minutes after 10 minutes
of production and this relaxation is
very effective at removing the fouling
layer from the membranes because the
pressure holding the the fouling to the
membrane is so low the result of this
effective relaxation is that the
chemical cleaning is required are
reduced significantly so under normal
operating conditions we're looking at
doing a chemical CIP cleaning in situ in
place once every two to three months
this is a significant reduction compared
to
other MBR modules on the market all in
all the librettist technology that we've
integrated into our MBR module allows
you to not only reduce your operating
cost day to day but over the lifetime of
your plant will give you the lowest
total lifecycle costs of any MBR on the
market
