[Music] welcome to one of our alfa laval 360 degree service and maintenance videos with alfa laval service you maximize the reliability and uptime of your equipment in this video we will focus on how to replace a service kit in an alfa laval agitator with s seal using genuine alfa laval spare parts whenever possible d mount the agitator from the tank before dismantling any parts how to replace a service kit in an agitator with s seal start by removing the guards from the lantern loosen the screws on the SCO to unfasten the rotary seal parts from the shaft you then carefully move the rotary seal part along the shaft move the mounting flange including the stationary seal part by pulling it carefully along the shaft be sure to avoid contact with the shaft as any contact may cause the seal to break remove the screws from the stationary seal part you next remove the retainer ring remove the stationery seal and the o-ring from the mounting flange now remove the rotary seal pant by pulling it carefully along the shaft remove the oil trap ring and the o-rings you now remove the four screws and the wear indicators from the rotary seal part you remove the rotary seal Oh ring and retainer ring from the seal part remove the four Springs you remove the inner ring remove the six pointed screws clean the seal surfaces using alcohol to make sure they are completely clean prior to seal replacement you replace the seal part and oring on the stationary seal part you now start assembling the stationery seal in the mounting flange carefully press down the stationery seal part and the retainer ring into the mounting flange tighten the four screws you now replace the inner ring in the new rotary seal part then insert the new o-ring in the rotary seal replace the four Springs you mount the rotary seal you insert the wear indicators and tighten the screws you insert the six new pointed screws you replace the o-rings and mount the oil trap ring you slide that rotary seal part onto the shaft lubricate with water you mount the stationary seal part towards the rotary seal part avoid contact with the shaft as any contact may cause the seal to break adjust the rotary seal part to the new set line you finally remount the guards on the lantern you to maintain the Alfa Laval agitator as shown these tools are required always remember to read the instruction manual thoroughly to make sure that you cover all of the maintenance steps this video only shows you some of the steps thank you for watching [Music]
